Think you will move to Canada?

Think again. My fiance is Canadian and I tried for YEARS to go there........good luck if you're American and not RICH..........you are not going to get there.

But don't despair. My fiance is absolutely as pissed as I am at his (Stephen Harper) govt which seems to be in league with Bushie. Canada is no more liberal than we are. There are forces there trying to do away with their govt universal health care as we speak. And may succeed.

SIGH. I once thought Canada would be the place to go. Especially since my sweetie is there. I have since been knocked upside the head on that score haha.

Canada is not only, under Stephen Harper, pretty pro-Bushie, but it's also even more anti-immigrant than we are.

Canada only has 33 million people...........you would think they would WELCOME immigrants.......well they do.......cheap labor immigrants...........just like here............not us EXPENSIVE US immigrants.

So forget emigrating to Canada, all you people that hate Bush as much as I do..........it aint gonna happen. You're going to have to stay right here and help us fight him. And don't think I blame you for wanting to leave. So did I.

We are trying for a visa to get my fiance to come here. And how ridiculous is that? Leaving a country with universal healthcare and a boom in jobs up in Edmonton, for THIS?

I love him dearly. What bugs me about this is that if I love him, I should tell him to stay there and not even try for this. But he will, and then we will know if he can be here or not.

My point is, for all of you that want to leave, please stay. It's no better anywhere else and we NEED you to fight the good fight. The election is coming, and we're going to need all the help we can get.

I might add that this is true for every other country that you think you might move to because it's better than here. They already know it's better than here. And they want to keep you out because we are now Americans that voted for torture and bad things.

So don't expect that you're going to be able to go to New Zealand or Canada or Australia or Venezuela.........all those countries already got your number. So stay here and try and help us get rid of these bastards that have stolen our country from us.

I will stay. I hope I can bring my fiance here. Like I said, I don't think I'm doing him any favor by doing so. But I hope we can make a differnce, the two of us.
