Well, no Coffee with Dad now - SIGH

I'm actually sort of appalled that he forwarded me this - some right wing talking screed re Obama

My Dad's email, which he forwarded from somewhere else and I'm sure he thought was quite funny:

My reply:

Oh. My. God.

Dad, I can't believe you forwarded this to me.

So what's you're choice then? McCain? Had an affair with a lobbyist? A LOBBYIST? And why is nobody bracing HIM for having a known affair the way they braced Bill Clinton ad nauseum?  Keating Five? Remember that? Volcanic unpredictable temper, according to those who know him? Will start yet ANOTHER war with Iran?

My first choice was Edwards. Since he dropped out, then my choice became Hilly, but seeing the Karl Rovian tactics she has been using against Obama, and seeing the classy way he has reacted to them all, and after that DEBATE last night on ABC, where the question of the day was "Do you believe in the American Flag?" which is a stupid gotcha question, and not ONE SINGLE THING about the issues that matter to us all (such as, where is all that money going in Iraq?) and "what's happening to the economy?" for which Obama has VERY GOOD answers by the way well..........................

(Stop) (Take deep breath)............Just count me among those morons and idiots that will be voting for Obama if he gets the nomination.

Gawd. Quit falling for the propaganda please. It's our lives and our American jobs at stake.

One of the things they got all bent about was that he went into a diner in Pennsylvania and ordered orange juice instead of coffee. It was spun as "you don't do substitutions on the menu". OMG. Give me a BREAK. The menu had both orange juice and coffee. There were no "substitutions" involved. This is meant to portray Obama as "out of touch with real Americans". Well I tell you what, if I go into Perkins for breakfast, and I want orange juice and not coffee, they damn well better not portray ME as some elite latte drinker. I'll put them down in short order.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Excuse me while I go puke now at the whole nastiness of political discourse.

If anybody wants to talk about ISSUES, and brace Obama about them, have at it. He's had real good answers for the ones I've seen so far.
